Clackamas Signs State Champion Seth Wynn
It's recruiting season for the Cougars, and the first addition of the spring is high school senior Seth Wynn from Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Oregon.
Wynn put together an impressive high school career as a three-time OSAA state placer. He finished 3rd at 150 pounds in 2024, followed by a 5th-place finish at 157 pounds in 2025, before capping off his senior season with a state championship at 157 pounds in 2026.
"We're excited to have Seth Wynn on our roster for next season," said Sanchez. "We believe he has a high ceiling in the sport, and we like how he carries himself on a day-to-day basis. We're looking forward to his development and believe he can contribute to the Cougars over the next couple of years."
The Cougars project Wynn at either 157 or 165 pounds as he begins his collegiate career at Clackamas.
**Why Clackamas?
"It's a place I knew I would grow in my academics and wrestling ability," said Wynn.
**What excites you most about being a Cougar?
"Having the opportunity to get in the room and scrap with some good guys, and get some great coaching," Wynn said.
The Cougars are still on the hunt for more prospects this spring. Stay tuned to see who they sign next.
