Cougars Perfect To Start Season
Clackamas Community College women's basketball team picked up three wins over the Thanksgiving weekend and one more last night to improve their season record to 5-0.
Friday saw Clackamas matched up to Mt. Hood Community College. The Cougars cruised to a 81-34 victory. Dani Lyons led all scorers with 22 points. On Saturday the Cougars beat SWOCC 99-53. Mia Martineau led Clackamas in scoring with 23 points. On Sunday the Cougars beat Umpqua Community College 92-62. Kylie Fernstrom and Martineau led the Cougars in scoring with 17 points apiece. To wrap up their home stretch, the Cougars rolled to a 94-35 victory over Pacific University JV with Jade Rowley and Kylie Fernstrom leading all scores with 20 and 19 points respectively.
The Cougars head out on the road this weekend to compete in the Everett Community College Women's Basketball Classic. They will take on the home team Everett Trojans in their first match-up Dec. 3. Tip-off is set for 7:00pm
